Volunteer Requirement *New
Thank you for giving your time to Rogers Youth Hockey! Our association relies on volunteers to run safe, organized, and fun experiences for our players—your help truly keeps our community strong!
Families are required to complete ten (10) volunteer hours each season, no matter how many players are registered. A minimum of three (3) hours must be completed at one of the RYHA hosted tournaments so we can ensure strong coverage during our busiest events. **Please note that for the 2026-2027 season, there are no hosted tournaments, so hours must be fulfilled during other events throughout the year.
If volunteer requirements are not met, a $500 per‑family fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
RYHA Travel Coaches (4 per team), Travel Team Managers (maximum of 2 per team), Mite Coaches (4 per team) and one Mite Team Manager per team will have their volunteer hours fulfilled.
RYHA Board Member and Coordinators will have their volunteer hours fulfilled as defined per position.
Team Duties
TEAM DUTIES / VOLUNTEERS
Travel Team Parents are required to help support the team with various team duties. These tasks are important for keeping games running smoothly, but they do NOT count toward DIBS volunteer hours. Some roles do require registering as a volunteer, while others do not.
