Coaches Required CEP Levels
Please Note: CEP is not required for parents or others who assist on-ice during practice, and will not act in any manner as a Coach or Assistant Coach; but
they still must be registered with USA Hockey and their paperwork must be turned in to the Registration Director. This is a USA Hockey Legal and
Litigation Mandate that is not optional.

Effective
September 1st, 2006
USA Hockey requires that helmets be worn by coaches when they are on ice with a youth team or any registered players. Minnesota hockey requires the helmet chin straps to be buckled. The penalty for non compliance is suspension from all activities for up to 30days.

you need to get it renewed if you are going to coach this season!
