SUBJ: MITE PROPOSED CHANGE
I’d like to thank the parents who gave feedback in regard to the July 16th meeting which presented a proposed change to the current Mite program. If you were not able to attend the meeting, or have not heard about the proposed change, please refer to the power point presentation above.
After reviewing the feedback given, the majority of which was very positive, RYHA has decided to proceed with the proposed new structure outlined in the July 16th meeting. There will be one change made in regard to full ice games.
In “PHASE I” there will be two full ice games and two ½ ice games vs. the prior plan which had three ½ ice games and no full ice games. In essence, one game has been added from the original proposed plan.
I truly believe that this new structure is a very positive move for all the young players in our Association, and I am excited to be a part of it.
